Wow, that title makes me sound way smarter than I actually am.
Do you ever have a day where you feel like your life is a human version of a participation trophy?
Yeah, that’s basically been the past six months for me.
I’m currently sitting in bed with my Charming and Dog both asleep next to me… and taking up way too much of the bed, while I am having an existential crisis. The overzealous pounding I have to do on my keyboard to make my laptop register letters is not helping, either.
I feel as though I’m at an age where I should have my shit together,or at the very least have an idea as to how to get my shit together. I’m married, yes, but I always thought that I would BE something. It would probably help if I was actually good at anything.
You ever look at someone with a similar interest or dream to yours? You see how good they are, how everyone comments on their talent, and all you think is, “fuck, why should I bother?” So many ideas get thwarted, dreams get thrown away. I have ideas on what I would like to do, but I know I’m not good enough. I’ve never been the example to aspire to in a class. When thinking of being good at something, everyone always has at least one other person they think of before I even cross their minds.I think people forget I’m here or that I do have some specialties. Maybe.
Although the only thing coming to mind right now is my eye rolling abilities.
I need some kind of boost. Some encouragement or a sign that maybe I’m good at something. However if the answer is working retail I MAY have to throw things.
Now to go back to possible careers. I’ve thrown out acting, singing, and writing due to being awful. I guess the only thing left is acrobat.

First off let me start out , dont judge me on my writing, spelling, grammer etc! Lol! Cause first and for most Im not very good at any of those listed above and some . Hahha!
So ……. now my FRIEND . You are GREAT at something that would be being YOU.. LAURA D! (Sorry chris no offense) you can always bring a smile on someones face no matter what situation is . You are very brave and confident in things you do! No matter what it may be .Let me also add who has a horse thats 15 times your size and still looks at him as a small pony! Or will stay up all night pulling and walking a colicing TB horse, and fight through your allergies to hay just to help out .you can go from farm girl to Glamour in minutes, farm boots to high heels.not many gals can!!! you usually get one or other (most time prissy girls dont get dirty) along with alot of other stuff I could mention. you rock at Acting, shooting your Bo, working with animals , fashion etc.so on…. do I need say more…. lol! see their is alot of stuff your great at. many people your age or anyone cant pick up and move around the world and not know anyone but their hubby and have no family close and be so Brave and versatile to the surrounding(Surely not alot .including ME!!) So I say HECK WITH THEM!! Your an ALL AROUND AMERICAN GIRL! Who is great at whatever she puts her heart to!!
Everyone has a timeline on their life thats why everyone is different .You will make your marks and find your calling in do time! And when you do you will be glad in it!! So dont sit around beating yourself up because your not up their with Sally Sue or Joe Blo. You enjoy your every day , soon your career will come when you least expect it and you can look back and do your Award Winning EYE ROLLING on those who doubted you!
